1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by AccountAX Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales.

By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Services

AccountAX Ltd provides accounting, bookkeeping, tax advisory, and related financial services to e-commerce sellers and content creators. The specific services provided will be outlined in your service agreement.

3. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and timely information
  • Respond promptly to our requests for documentation
  • Notify us of any changes to your business that may affect our services
  • Pay all fees when due
  • Review and approve documents before submission to HMRC or other authorities

4. Fees and Payment

Our fees are set out in your service agreement. All fees are quoted exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT will be added at the prevailing rate.

Payment is due monthly in advance by direct debit or card payment. We reserve the right to suspend services if payment is not received within 14 days of the due date.

5. Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with our services within the first 30 days, you may request a full refund of fees paid.

6. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement by giving 30 days' written notice. Upon termination:

  • All outstanding fees become immediately payable
  • We will provide a handover of records to you or your new accountant
  • We will retain records in accordance with our legal obligations

7. Limitation of Liability

We will perform our services with reasonable skill and care. However, our liability is limited as follows:

  • We are not liable for losses arising from information provided by you that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • We are not liable for losses arising from your failure to act on our advice
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses

8. Confidentiality

We will keep all information you provide to us confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or regulatory bodies, or where you have given consent.

9. Professional Standards

Our services are provided in accordance with the ethical and professional standards of our regulatory bodies. We maintain professional indemnity insurance to protect our clients.

10. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us at complaints@accountax.co.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 20 working days.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes. Continued use of our services after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
